The Graduation of the Fourth Cohort of El Sewedy Technical School for Applied Technology
In 28th July, Balanced Education Company proudly celebrated the graduation of the fourth cohort of El Sewedy Technical School for Applied Technology in Deyerb Negm – Sharqia Governorate for the Class of 2025.
Since the school’s establishment in 2019, Balanced Education Company has been a dedicated sponsor, in partnership with the Federation of Egyptian Industries and under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education. In 16th of July, BalancedED proudly signed a joint cooperation protocol with the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (A.H.K) to collaborate on the accreditation of Applied Technology Schools affiliated with the AbouBakr Foundation for Technical and Applied Technology Education.
This partnership focuses on schools specializing in solar energy and gas, aligning their programs with German technical education accreditation standards — a step forward in elevating the quality of vocational education in Egypt.

Balanced Education Conference Discusses Sustainability of ATS Schools 12th May,2025
The annual conference of the Balanced Education Company was held under the title:
“The Experience of Applied Technology Schools in Egypt: Successes – Challenges – Sustainability Mechanisms.”
The conference addressed the major challenges that Applied Technology Schools (ATS) have faced over the past seven years, along with potential solutions. It also presented mechanisms for ensuring the sustainability of the ATS model and strategies to increase student enrollment in these schools.
Attending the conference were several prominent representatives, including Eng. Mohamed Zaki El Sewedy – Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Industries, representing the Federation, and Dr. Amr Bosila – Head of the Central Administration for Technical Education Development and Director of the Applied Technology Schools Operation and Management Unit, representing the Ministry of Education and Technical Education.
Also in attendance were Mr. Pasqualino Mare – Representative of the European Training Foundation (ETF), and Dr. Tricia Meredith – Assistant Research Professor at the College of Education, Florida Atlantic University, and Director of Scientific Research at the same university.


First Session: Challenges and Solutions
This session was moderated by Dr. Khaled Abdel Azim – Executive Director of the Federation of Egyptian Industries. The panel included:

• Ms. Naglaa Nasir – Advisor to the CEO of WE Telecom for the Applied Technology Schools Sector
